Our team were tasked with refreshing our Student Tech-Torials videos, which were previously hosted as recorded Zoom presentations aimed at new students to quickly upskill their understanding of ICT systems and services. To enhance engagement, we re-scripted these into shorter “overview” videos, filmed these as pieces to camera with our team, and edited screen capture and training overlay to enhance the style of the presentation.

See below for a sample of four topics on eduroam, Microsoft 365, Zoom and Ask UniSQ. My involvement consisted of all filming, editing, animation and delivery. I continuously track the performance of these videos on the University’s YouTube channel to understand their effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

Social Media communications

As part of this body of work, we filmed two short clips to build awareness about Sophos Home and Microsoft 365 for students, which were added to the University’s Facebook and Instagram stories during Orientation Week in Trimester 1, 2025.
